Stoke Rochford Golf Club
Stoke Rochford golf club approched web in a click after seeing another site we had done and liked what they saw.
After an initial meeting and a demonstration of our websites, they agreed to go ahead with the site.
The one thing they requested though was they would like the calendar to display as a month view rather than the views that we had already.
After a discussion with our programmers, we decided that this view would benefit a lot of our other users that had the calendar so we wrote this in. We will always consider doing this if it will benefit our other users.
The original web site
The original web site was being updated by one of the members using Front Page. As the site had grown it had become un-manageable with links and pages etc.
Also the styles were not consistent and images were not sized properly.
They admitted that it was a huge task to update a web site using front page as there are many factors to consider. Keywords, metatags as well as all the code that goes on behind the scenes. It was taking a lot of time. Not only that, they are not web designers and if something did break in the code, they did not know how to fix it.
The New Site
We showed them how easy it was with Web in a click and that using certain modules made this task so much easier, resizing pictures, automatically creating links and pages etc.
We created a sub domain for them to transfer all their data from the old site whilst our designers set about re-designing the web site.
We submitted 3 design and they decided on one particular design.
Because they had recently had some photos done they wanted different pictures in the header of the web site to indicate which section a viewer was on which we did.
Within a couple of weeks, all the information had been copied to the new web site and we had written the new diary view to show months at a time. We also created custom groups so if they was entering information in the diary, this could also be filtered by group. Such as Ladies, Gents, Juniors, Seniors, Visitors and events.
We were given the go ahead and the site went live that day.

Testimonial
We first contacted Web-in-a-Click in early January 2008. They kindly agreed to attend an evening meeting at our convenience with a couple of the Committee members to demonstrate the systems capabilities.
It quickly became evident that this is what the club wanted to move forward and they were also able to alter their basic formats to suit our individual needs. We agreed to place an order and from there matters moved very quickly to one where we were able to upload our new site with very few problems on 22nd February 2008.
As the person resonsible for managing the web site for the club, I have to say to say that I have found Web-in-a-Click extremely helpful and committed to providing you with a first class, individual service at an affordable price and nothing has been too much trouble.
Communication has been excellent and any problems I have encountered have been swiftly explained and dealt with and I would certainly recommend their product for golf clubs like ours.
